Durham Center for Senior Life - Congregate Meals

The Durham Center for Senior Life offers congregate meal services at three satellite Senior Centers in Durham. he Congregate Meal Services are intended to promote social, emotional, and physical well-being in older adults age 60 years plus. We do this by providing a nutritional lunch 5 days a week as well as socialization activities. 

In order to participate in our the Congregate Meal Service, you must be 60 or older and complete a registration application. 

If you are not 60 and older and need further assistance, we do offer Special Eligibility for volunteers and spouses. 

Congregate meals can be offered to a person with a disability under age 60 if there is documentation of the disability or if they live with and accompany an eligible senior to a Congregate Meal site. 

Durham Center for Senior Life will provide transportation to and from the congregate meal site using Durham County ACCESS.
